Sorry you're poor, mate. I live in Milwaukee - it snowed here last week. And I've had my ac on several times.

Has nothing to do with it. When I run it full blast in August, my bill rarely touches $125.

Just haven't felt the need to turn it on yet.

A/C cheap asses are the worst. In the south it's near year round maintainance these days keeping it cool. You can put more clothes on if your cold, but at some point you can't take more clothes off & im damn sure not gonna peel my skin back to save a few dollars.

TL;DR if ppl are sweating, cut the a/c on, Smalls.

What's so funny is that if I had posted in the last week of January, on a 75 degree day, that I had cranked up the A/C, all you Baws would be excoriating me for being such a lame-arse. "Open a window!" "It's perfect outside." "I don't usually need my A/C until July!"

Face it, y'all are just a bunch of contrarian bastards.

My roommate is from up north and is one of those "don't need AC ever" types. Been quite a few fights about that one.

Not yet.

Like the OP, we're settlers. We settle for things...like discomfort and body odor.

God yes. I don't think the heater came on this year. I sleep with my house on 66-67. Two story and only one AC services both floors, so I have to freeze out the downstairs in order to be comfortable for sleep upstairs.
