Guy is a true hero. The circumstances around his death really suck though.

Anyone who hasn't read "Where Men Win Glory" should. It's fantastic.

RIP, guy gave up the dream to protect his country. One of the saddest things I've ever seen were the many people who tried to minimize his death and sacrifice because of how he died and because of his personal beliefs.

A true American hero.

Hate how the Bush administration handled his death.

You'd think from those tweets he was killed by the taliban and not by some chicken shite guys in his own unit while carrying out a pointless operation to remove a broken down vehicle.

Where men win glory is one of the best books I've ever read

I'm not trying to politicize his death, but this dude did anything to give his life for his country.

He was killed by his own men, and his "country" lied about it. Some sacrifice.....

Dude was a hero, and a much better man than I will ever be, but the narrative that he died for his country is utter bullshite.

Great American - disgusting what the Bush administration did to him and his legacy.

Great clip of his brother speaking out about what happened at the funeral with the awful John McCain, etc...

He was a badass. Dude was a atheist also. Sucks how politicians and famous people who didn't know him showed up at his funeral to gain PR points.

He did more for his country than his country did for him.

He did a great thing, and it always makes me absolutely sick to my stomach that he was killed by friendly fire.
