Anyone else having this issue? I updated to 9.3.1 yesterday and immediately the battery drain was ridiculous. Basically six hours of standby time and some light usage and battery is done... I went through and killed apps and made sure things were off and set correctly…i never have wifi or location services on, no improvement. Have already had to charge twice today.

I've had no problem on. 6s but my daughters 5 seems to drain much quicker.

Yup. I locked my phone for dinner at 25% and it was dead by the time I got the check. It lives on a charger until they fix it.

I think they are trying to burn 5 and 5s with software updates trying to get people to buy new phones.
They better be careful--folks will leave the IOS phones.
I have for 10 years or more been MAC all the way. We have 10 or 15 at my office and only run a Windows server. All our MAC connect via terminal services. It keeps us from having an IT staff.
HOWEVER, of late Apple is getting difficult to manage. These upgrades create problems we thought we had left moving away from window.
I have never considered a droid phone but will this time.

My 6's battery life has really gone to shite. I've got a 6s for work, and the battery comparison is insane.
I've got to be honest, with what I've seen coming out about the iPhone 7 and the battery issues I've had with the 6, it's going to be hard not to look at a Galaxy come Jan next year. Right now the only thing that seems to hit is Apple wanting to make the 7 thinner by removing the headphone jack. I'm sick of having to spend $100 for cases and screen protectors. The new Galaxy's are water resistant with better glass.
I don't want a thinner phone because I'm just going to have to make it thicker by slapping a case on it. Tired of that. Apple Ecosystem be damned.

Yes my wife and i phones only last half the day and we aren't even on it much. Use to make it though the whole day without a charge prior to the latest update.

I use to be able to go all day and still be above 20% at bed time. Now i'm charging twice during the day. This clunky, buggy stuff is just getting old.
