For recreational use? Maybe 25-30 years. Medical marijuana has been legal for a couple decades but with no legal growers or dispensers. Because Louisiana.

Full recreational? 15 years or when the federal government legalizes, whichever comes first.

I think much sooner than this. I think all of a sudden the entire country will start coming around on this.

You have more faith than I. Too many idiots and too much special interest/corruption.

At least 15 years. If the Feds remain stubborn it could be longer. I keep thinking the Feds will reschedule it but nah, there's that tradition of being retarded to maintain.

Probably in 9 years when we have our next Democrat president.

I'm honestly not even sure the Feds legalizing it in the near future would change Louisiana's stance.

itll be the second to last state to legalize, followed by Mississippi 10 years after that.

If the state wanted to be smart and completely revamp the budget, they'd legalize it ASAP and just tax the hell out of it. But they won't because "weed is bad, mmkay"

Sure would be nice if it could just be left up to the people of the state to vote on. Of course that would only be good if it would end this conversation once and for all when its over with

I'm not as optimistic as most about this. My guess is 25 years.

Just watched a show about weed in Amsterdam and the strange legalities is has. Shops can sell and users can consume but growers are considered illegal. If Amsterdam has these qwerks, the US and LA will certainly have issues. Personally I want it legal so you pot heads will shut the frick up. Yall are worse than the LGTB crowd.
Being gay isn't illegal. Pot smokers have a real issue.

We still haven't gotten all the legal mechanisms in place after a year and a half.

Would be one less bullshite reason the state politicians can spew out as they grasp desperately for valid reasons to avoid being smart.
