I wonder if UC4 will be a Neo title, as the article says devs can release Neo capable titles before the Neo releases, which leads me to believe UC4 will be one of those.

So games have to have a base mode and a Neo mode, but how is that going to make games better? Isn't that making it harder to produce good games in a landscape where games are mostly shipped super broken anyway?

Why can't NEO mode and standard mode coexist?
Can't the devs just build the game to take full advantage of NEO mode at native 1080p and let the standard mode run at a lower resolution upscaled to 1080p.
This way they wouldn't divide their user base and as long as both consoles are running at the same frame rate it wouldn't put anyone at a disadvantage.

Yeah....I'd rather not have to buy an entirely new console every time they want to make a slight upgrade.
Meanwhile in PC masterrace land, the comp I built in 2012 is running Black Desert on the highest settings at 50 FPS in highly populated areas.

This shite should of been the ps4 and the other Xbone.
They stuck it up console users arse, with the so called,"Next Gen" pieces of shits, and now want u to buy an actual Next gen console?
frick both companies, they pushed their garbage out, when they should of waited, and this should of been their first next gen consoles.

This makes me happy that I got a PC and just picked one of the consoles to play exclusives on. Now, instead of having (well, its not a necessity, but I'm a geek and like new shite) to buy a new console for an incremental upgrade, I can just buy a new GPU or something if I need to upgrade that will see more bang for my buck.
