one year I got the purple or the gold taf seats(semi suite,) forget which, before all of the craziness that we have now, he and his wife were there for just about all of the games, couldn't tell if he was good, bad, or ugly, always trashed

He lived in Old Metairie and I would see him around at different stores and restaurants and the city park driving range. He was always nice, but I don't know him other than just small talk.
I don't know if he still lives in Old Metairie or not.

I do have a friend that met him and said he wasn't really a nice guy.

He was drunk and/or high and rear ended a station wagon in front of my house on fountainbleau
Ronnie Lamarque showed up and whisked he and his lady friend in a brand new Mercedes...a few months later he was doing radio commercials for the NOPD. Never charged
I tried talking to him (there were no cops yet and he looked like he was about to collapse)because he was literally standing in front of my house and he couldn't string two sentences together.
Just another daily reminder the NOPD is full of pieces of shite

He was real good buddies with Billy 'Grey Ghost' Cannon growing up but got mixed up with the wrong people.

Not yet always wanted to. He grew up in my dads old neighborhood in Afton MO and went to the same college. Ive heard the prick stories though too.

How so? I'm guessing this is a case where it's more fun to call someone a dick, even though you had zero interaction with him.

Years ago, I met him in the NO airport, just sitting by himself, waiting for his flight. He seemed nice enough, didn't want to be too chatty to draw attention to himself, but had no issue giving my girlfriend an autograph. I used to work at the gym he was a member of, told him that I worked there, and he offered a self deprecating laugh about how long it'd been since he'd worked out there.

I once saw him punch out a petite mulato girl at Chez Joey, but he did it with that winking grin that let you know it was all in good fun. Threw some cash at her, bought me a drink and asked me what I had seen? Nothing my man, nothing at all.

She probably deserved it.

Met him once at Middendorf's. He wanted to arm wrestle for a round but the staff had apparently already banned him from arm wrestling. I think I had him though.

Stood next to him on Orleans for Endymion years ago and he was cool the whole time. Never once did he come off as a prick.

I worked at Trey Yuen in Mandeville in '96. He would come in to eat in the private room with his wife and her family every 3-4 months. I brought their food out but wouldn't say we shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. Closest I got to meeting him was on one of his visits he asked me for a lighter while we were hanging in the bar waiting for their table to leave.
