Sad Story but 'Murka as Hell - 1 dies; 2 injured in lawnmower incident

There are so many ways they could have gotten hurt and died. Getting hit by a truck would have been my last guess.
If the wheelchair was in the back when the truck hit them, how did the mower driver die and the wheelchair guy live?
