Winning a NC with 2 losses

I'm sort of torn on this issue.
I guess if it can happen, it just as soon happen to us, as opposed to anyone else.
But, does anybody else think there's something sort of tawdry about it?

I'm with you. As elated as I'd be to see it happen in our favor, it almost seems like it deserves an asterisk in the record books.

this has been a crazy year and a 2 loss team would be fitting in a way

Since OSU is going to lose in the BCS game, whoever plays them is going to be a 2 loss national champion. So,

No more tawdry than when we won the SECCG in 2001 with 3 losses. Still is a championship.

Well it seems like most people want a playoff system. In playoff systems, teams with a couple of losses often win titles.
Just look at the NFL. Look at College Basketball, College Baseball, etc. Not sure about the playoffs for the smaller division schools in college football but I'm sure that from time to time teams with losses win those playoffs.
