Good teeth...is it genetic?

I'm 34, never have brushed at night, only in the morning. Never had a cavity.
I know other people who have many cavities
Is it something you're born with?

Why don't you brush your teeth at night?

He probably wonders why he never gets laid in the evenings, either.

Yes. Some people have hard teeth. Other people have soft teeth, whatever the frick that means.

Dentures don't get cavities.

I was just discussing this with a friend. He brushes regularly and had tons of cavities along with the rest of his mother's side. I've never had one. My dad has only had a few.

As my dentist explained to me, some people have more acidity in their mouth than other people. More acidity means more cavities because the acidity eats away at the outer protective layer of the teeth. This is why some people who floss and brush teeth regularly can still get cavities. (Me). On the contrary, people who have less acidic mouths can be more prone to having to have root canals, however. (For whatever reason). This acidity issue is genetic.

Do you know how much bacteria is in that mouth only brushing once a day?
As other posters have stated, you're gross.

I'm with you. Only brush in the morning and have never had a cavity. I figure the bourbon kills the bugs at night.

Yeah, my grandfather behaved similarly. Around 60 all his teeth started to fall out. Never had a cavity. Great teeth, bad gums.
Dad has never had a cavity, age 71, me either, but we both brush and floss like maniacs.

Y'all some nasty people not brushing your teeth at night. So you basically let all the tiny food particles from the food you ate throughout the day.....just sit on your teeth while you sleep. Letting all that bacteria in your mouth just build up while you sleep. I would imagine you have some serious horrible breath when you first wake up.

There's more to worry about than just your teeth. Your gums. Your breath. Your overall health.
The fact that it's just nasty not to brush at night should be reason enough to change your ways. It's gross. I hate to think what you smell like in the morning.

simply scroll down to where you see free blotting book
it's a serious book, no OT jokes...
I scrape tongue with a copper scraper, and oil pull prior to bed
