Granted the thing that pisses me off most about the movie (not killing Han)

Is this like the cool thing now?

I never heard anyone say that Han should have died until this message board came along.

I know it's heresy to say, but, I never understood the boner hype about Carrie Fisher. Even in the slave girl outfit. I was in junior high and high school when the Star Wars movies were first run and even as a horny teenager I thought she was pretty average by Hollywood standards. Many more 70s eye candy actresses could have played PL (let's not pretend that role required Katherine Hepburn or Meryl Streep).

The guy who is the most outspoken about not liking Return of the Jedi is Harrison Ford himself. He thinks they should have killed his character off in Jabba's Palace and has been highly vocal about it.

When it was announced Han was coming back, any real fan knew the only reason Harrison Ford would agree to return to his most iconic role is if they were going to kill him. When I saw Harrison being interviewed giddy as shite about the movie (which I've never seen from him before), that was confirmation. As I said though, Han being murdered by his own son to engulf himself in darkness is a much better death than any scenario RotJ could have done, so I forgive this flaw.
