I voted oxford because they are tailgating from game 1 through game 12. At LSU tailgating goes down hill after game 6 or 7. By the last couple of games unless one of them is Bama, there is very little tailgating going on at LSU.

Have you been to Oxford? I assume not.

I was hammered in the previous thread for alluding to this. I love LSU and all, but BR is towards the bottom of SEC towns

Athens is probably one of the better college towns in the country, much less the SEC

have you ever been more than 2 miles from campus? It's a war zone not a college town.

Been to all of the major ones except oxford. I think Athens is kind of overrated. Nashville is underrated.

Baton Rouge has no business being in the discussion with Athens or Oxford for college towns.

HOWEVER

Having been to Blackburg, and its habitually abused red headed step-sister Radford, Baton Rouge is certainly ahead of those impoverished Appalachian failed coal towns full of Mountain Dew loving meth heads.

And how is that LSU's fault? Oxford has a ghetto section too, you just don't see it when you're in town for an Ole Piss game.

BR has 2 great universities. Both are very historical and are great attractions for South Louisiana. BR is a college town.

I agree. Baton Rouge is not even in the top 50 best college towns.

However, it is one of the best tailgating venues on Football game days.

Baton Rouge is not a college town, it's a city that has a college in it.

It's pretty hard to be Athens imo

If only the LSU/UGA rotation didn't suck arse.
