When I was a kid I was dreadfully afraid of the devil. I always imagined he was following me and killed some of my friends, who actually died. I thought about making a deal with him but realized you can't really make a deal with him because he will still win in the end.

Well then it happened. I actually saw a demon while at college one weekend. My dog was a witness. Turns out that the devil was following me but so was my guardian angel. Evidently God has a bad arse angel on my chase. I have not been afraid since that day, at least not of the devil.

Drowning, that's the one way I don't want to go. That being said I've heard it's one of the most peaceful ways to go as you involuntary feel like you're breathing again toward the end.

I was tormented by the fear that Voldemort was gonna find me and kill me because I'm a muggle, and he had already killed so many of my wizard and muggle friends. Then I realized it was just a book, and he's just a fictional character created to induce fear so everyone would believe their savior would come and defeat him.

Well, then it happened. Harry Potter came along and destroyed all of the horocruxes with his friends. Evidently Dumbledore knew he had a bad arse wizard in Harry who would sacrifice himself when the time came and save us all from the devil himself. I have not been afraid since that day, at least not of Voldemort.

Losing my family. The only real answer really. Everything else is trivial.
