Supposedly Les Miles addressed the team this afternoon and told them that he's leaving and tomorrow is his last game. I was wondering if we can get some confimation from someone who may have heard this alleged speech.

This information comes from our ex long snapper who ate lunch with my wife's boss today in Baton Rouge.

I don't know anyone on the team, but I know a person with strong ties to the team. He is VERY reliable and he told me pretty much everything that you just said. He didn't know all the details though

From what I have gathered...he did talk to the team about Michigan, but only said that he owes it to himself to listen to them. I am guessing that some players took his words and maybe his body language to mean that he is gone.

But I don't believe he said he was leaving.

At least I cited my "source" and, I feel that it's a legit question.

It's no secret that players that are not far removed from their playing days still talk to the current players.

Chicken, do you agree that he has now done too much damage for staying to even be an option??

Just pull up behind him and start honking your horn until he talks to you (hopefully he won't jump on your hood first)

Thanks, Chicken. Seems from the threads that he was having this meeting yesterday, and again today!! I guess when something is such a big hit, you just can't stop!!

I don't think any of the "damage" is Miles' fault. He could not control the Michigan job becoming available. He has won at least 10+ games in each of his three seasons here. He has been good for LSU. You never know what could happen with a new coach coming in...Miles staying could prove to be the best thing for LSU. We may never know.

I think you have it wrong...Xavier Carter is the hood jumper. Odom is more of a ramming into the side of your car type...

No way he told the team he is leaving before he had a face to face interview and before this game. If he did, then he is a moron. I think he has too much heart and class for that.

Miles - Men let's concentrate on this game and not the Nebraska/Michigan/Hawaii crap.

Player - Miles won't stop talking about the University of Michigan.

former player - Miles is talking to the players about the Michgan Job.

Wife's boss - Miles is telling his players the details of his interview and how he's probably going to take the Michgan job.

Wife - Miles was telling the players that he is going to take the Michigan job after tomorrow.
