Anyone who melts over this baseball season clearly doesn't follow the program

Anyone who follows this program knew going into the season our youth would be a factor. I still think we hit our stride and do well in conference.
However, I think next year will be incredibly fun. Next year has the makings to be a special season!

I agree but it does suck to go up against the SEC best pitching staff out the gate.

I agree with the pitching comments. I was very high on our Friday and Saturday slots this year. Still confused as to what's going on.

During the Bertman era, while we had stars as juniors and some seniors, there was always a freshman star that you knew would lead the team the following year. We just don't get that caliber of position player year after year any more. I know that there is more parity and more programs fighting for the top players, but LSU used to get players the caliber of Bregman year after year.
