I think it goes without saying that this was in the top 5 of worst efforts by any LSU sports team ever today.

What do you guys think are some of the other memorable moments when a team showed up and just completely gave zero effort and quit? The sad part is I'm having trouble coming up with anything close to this effort today.

There is NO DOUBT this team QUIT. It all starts at the top with Jones. It is quite evident that this team does not get along with one another. They can sit here and talk the politically correct message all they want.

But the proof is in the pudding. Hell, next season Jones should be given the same ultimatum that was given to the late Sue Gunther, get to the NCAA or get fired.

Actually, for about the first 15 minutes I thought the effort was there.

But the lack of a plan, the lack of preparation, the lack of IQ and sense of purpose in play doomed us and once the game got out of hand, as so many times this year, the effort waned.

I think the lack of overall effort by this team has been unprecedented in it's scope in my 44 years of watching hoops. Mabye a couple of football teams I could throw in the same category in my life, but worst ever in hoops.

This is the 1st team I've ever seen that has 3 seven footers or almost seven footers and none can play SEC caliber ball....why does JJones carry 3 projects on the team.....

I remember Kentucky beating us 31-5 in football in 1999. That was pretty embarrassing. That's about all I got.

Auburn 100
LSU 62

I believe that was in '87.

As for as jj this was the most important loss period. I have not gone on about jj this whole year but the writing is on the wall, and so be it.
