I recieved a job offer there this afternoon.

Young male with no children. Good areas to live for good food, drinks, beer, etc.? Like to walk/bike to places when the opportunity arises so I'd like to live somewhere that's good for. How's the downtown scene?

Thanks for the information

I read in the paper one time that one guy transmitted HIV to about 150 different women. That's all I got.

I went there once for work and pretty much stayed in the downtown area except for when I drove way out to the Speedway. Downtown seemed pretty compact to me, bigger than BR's downtown but smaller than NOLA. There were a few restaurants that looked good on the main drag through town. Of course, this was several years ago. So not sure if there were any changes since then.

Carmel is the place to live.

About 45 minutes north of Indy.

I follow this board a good bit and the majority of your advice is absolutely awful, so I will skip your advice to live 40 miles away from Indianapolis.

Please forgive me, but that's a pretty wide range. Downtown BR is small as shite.

Office is in Fisher, but that's not really a concern. I have no desire to live in the suburbs.

I've read good and bad things about Carmel. Supposedly it's the suburb for young professionals, but still a suburb.
