I posted on 11/7 that I had spoke to Rob Sale's dad and he had heard from a solid source that Spurrier wanted the job if Miles left. You guys can debunk this all you want but it's gonna happen. If it doesn't, I'll admit I'm wrong but I'd be very surprised if it doesn't happen.

"Solid source"..that's the job I want, he must be well paid as everyone in the state knows him and values his opinion. Unless there are TWO: which puts #1 vs #2, who is claiming Saban is a done deal.

the person that told me has maintianed its truth through out the whole process.

If Lombardi wasn't running the show I'd think Spurrier was a pipe dream. I think our chances with him are much better though than people realize.

I'm just talking about the fact that everyone is starting a new topic about the same rumor every 10 minutes. They should just sticky a Saban thread, a Spurrier rumor thread, and so on.
