Not every phenom, but there have been quite a few. Todd Walker is pretty much the only baseball player who performed at an all american level from the start of his freshman year to the end of his career at LSU. Just remember our previous 4 freshmen all american pitcher
(Laxton, Schultz, Mestapey and Ott). Only Mestapey had a good sophomore year before he blew his arm out. By the end of their careers they were nowhere near their freshman year.

I think Lange's is just mechanical and not arm. Give CPM credit for not overusing him last year.
