Question for Chicago natives / transplants / travelers

I've planned a trip to Wrigley field which I have been dying to go to for years. Now I am. I bought great seats. I originally was going to get tickets for a May game; read that it would be cool (don't want cool) so I bought tickets for June vs the Diamond Backs. Once again... may be really cool (or rain).
Now, I looked at the yearly climate data in Chicago and it says 60F in June is possible.
Overall, I'm worried because I really don't want this to be rained out or cold.
I'm anxious because I fear a rain out, much like my trip to Oriole Park and Busch Stadium.
What is the weather in early June in Chicago?

Just bring an umbrella. It should blow thought soon.

It's supposed to storm all June. You are screwed.

The teams with historically low numbers of rainouts are the Dodgers (rained out just 17 times in over 48 years) and the San Diego Padres, rained out only once in their 42-year history.

The great thing about Chicago day games, is that they usually get the games in with long rain delays. Just stay at Murphys, or the Cubby Bear, Yakzies, etc until the game starts.
And yes, it can snow there on Memorial Day weekend, I have unfortunately been through it

first off you bought tix way too early.
You are advised to stay over a three day weekend. so that you can choose to go to one of the weekend games. in your case whichever has better weather.
you really afraid of it being a little cool? day game at 60 degrees is very nice. night game? pack a long sleeve shirt.
quit overthinking this.

May is cool and unpredictable. As far as rain in June, you have just as much chance in August. A fair amount of the seats in Wrigley are covered. Just buy tickets there if you are that concerned.

June can sometimes be really hot but at a minimum it should be pleasant.
And yes, you did buy your tickets too early. But whatever, you've got them. Good tickets are great, but if you're young and you want to have a blast, sell those suckers and get some bleacher tickets. Its essentially the student section of wrigley field. My buddies and I share a full season plan and sometimes I'll sell our upper deck box tickets and try and snag bleachers just because it's so damn fun out there.
Also, not sure what game you bought for, but Wrigley is known for day baseball so that is the most "pure" experience.
