I asked some dude at the gas station what he was being paid to advertise on his ride. Claims he was being paid $500 a week.
Why don't more people try to get into this. Seems like a good way to earn Extra $$$$

He may be making that much, but he's driving a shite ton of miles in high traffic areas during peak hours. Basically, that's his job.
I have a few of my sponsors decals on my ride but I don't get paid for it, but I get their products at a deep discount

He probably has to cover a certain amount of ground to get that much. Either way, that's really not that much. It's fairly standard for an entry level job.

The real money is in sign spinners. Back when I was doing this, the starting wage was 10/hr. The best sign spinners were making 70/hr and sometimes worked on commission.
Of course this was about 10 years ago.

I guess I kind of get paid to advertise. My truck is painted a recognizable color and has our logos all over it.

No shite. You wanna be tooling around Tigerland or Downtown all Friday or Saturday night? Or driving around some local festival all day Saturday? Or going around the LSU or Southern campus the whole day of an athletic event?
