It's early in the season and it looks like PM is trying different players in different situations to see what works. It's much better to struggle early anhit your stride going into SEC play than will your way over inferior opponents and having to figure it out on the meat of the schedule.

If PM doesn't get it figured out, then he deserves the criticism, but we should reserve judgement for at least a couple of weeks.

I'm not angry. But I don't think this team will have a great season. We just aren't very good this year. We are young and will be ready next year. I don't see what is wrong with saying that

I don't think that is how our fans operate.

No. It is the duty of the rant to panic after the first out of the first inning. Or the first bucket of the game. Or the kickoff return. It's what we do!

Exactly. All of our National Championship teams had lost to multiple teams like this. I'm gonna give it a little time to reserve judgement.

I still stand with the regional host bubble in. Don't like this start but we are a young team and will improve quick.

Baseball is about finding your stride at the right time of year, CPM has a tendency to pull his team together late and play good baseball, well at least till he hits the post season.

No kidding. It's obvious he's developing players rather than going all out to win. Riley Smith was terrible Wednesday, yet he put him in relief in a close game Saturday night. If that was the playoffs would he have pitched Smith? Would he have played Breaux? Wofford?

Yes, fans need to be patient with this very young team. As great a player Warren Morris was, he redshirted his freshman year. We all know how that turned out. This team will get better, but Omaha is in the distant future.

Looking back over the last few recruiting cycles our production doesn't match our talent. This needs to be addressed by whatever means is appropriate.

We need a new coach. CPM not getting it done in Omaha. And that's all that matters.

It's a young team that's replacing one of the best offensive lineups that we've had. We will have a lot of growing pains this season. Patience will be needed with this team.

ITS BASEBALL. That's why they have series in this sport. The better team doesn't always win in baseball. The second basemen looks like a Diva, but I think the team is young but very talented. I don't expect much in the way on titles but who knows.

This team has 7 new position players. It's safe to say that no team in the league, few if any in the top 20, are in that position. His best pitcher is a soph. LSU plays in the toughest conference in the country.

We shouldn't panic two weeks into the season? You don't say.

Many n hear myself included said they expected this team to struggle. The lack of experience can't be overcome in a game decided by a single at bat or a single pitch. We will struggle to score against above average pitching . And be completely dominated by good pitching. Our good pitching requires good defense behind it to win all these one run
low scoring games. I'm more worried about the defense than scratching enough runs to win. I see us .500 in the league in a solid rebuilding year.

no matter the experience of his teams his has always waited too long to pull tired pitchers and allow leads/games to slip away and it has already happened twice this season, so I will continue to criticize that...
