3.5 lbs caught on Poverty Point. I caught a 2.9 there last year......lake has some pigs in it.

Based on the ones I have weighed and measured, a 16-16.5" slab will weigh somewhere in the 2-2.5# range. I imagine that 3.5# fish was around 18.5".
Although I have weighed 14" fish over 2# and 15.5" fish under 2# so it obviously varies from fish to fish.
ETA: On average, contrary to what I thought before I started keeping records, sac-au-lait weigh less per length than bass do.
