My only problem with it is I don't know where to fish reds with it. The only place I ever fish reds is cocodrie by our camp almost in lake pelto. It's hard to find clean water out that way in the winter. I guess I need to learn lake Boudreaux, pac for the reds.

If you have a place in Cocodrie you are in some of the best sight casting water in the state. The marsh holds the same caliper redfish as hopedale but without all the out of state guides. A lot of guides moved their operation out of Hopedale and over to Cocodire, and they didn't do it to chase slot reds, they did it for the bulls.

To sight fish PAC in that boat you're going to want to hang out on the edges of the marsh. You may be able to get deeper into the marsh when the water is up. That hull is far better suited to chase bigger fish.

Boudreax is good, quitman is good, there is some stellar fishing just a few miles to the east. Everything between china island and coco marina, to the south, holds fish and crystal clear water. Those areas were shallow broken marsh drains into more open lakes should suit you just fine in that boat. You have the ability to makes that run, so make it.

LIke I said a few days ago, I've been fishing Dulac area for 10 years and have seen very few skiffs. Tons of good marsh to the south that I never go to.
