he's also missed ~25% of all games played during his career here due to injury or other reason.
with the full 16 game season.. including games he has missed.. under 40. very productive

Ingram also only got the ball 14 times a game duh!
All while avg 4.6 ypc.
His salary is only the 12th highest while his stats last year even missing four games ranked in the top 15.
14 carries a game with a 4.6 ypc average.
So who's to blame smart guy?

An Ingram hate thread.
I never thought I'd see this on ST.

I won't hate on the guy, but I also won't make him out to be anything other than an average back.

He had a slow start to his career. He has picked it up the last couple of years.
Last year he averaged 97.8 yards from scrimmage a game, and in 2014 he averaged 85.3 yards from scrimmage a game. Not bad. He's probably our best offensive weapon right now, if he can stay healthy. At some point he started running with a lot more attitude and enthusiasm. He'll never be much of a big play threat, but he's a good player.

I didn't like Ingram before the past 2 seasons but I'd be lying if I said he hasn't earned his money the past 2. He actually was in the top 5 all purpose before he got hurt I believe. Yeah, he's injury prone but you can't argue with his production past 2 years.
For once we actually signed a player to a decent deal and he didn't seem like he sat on his money either. I had doubts resigning Ingram was a good idea because he only decided to get up on his final year on his contract but I was wrong. He performed well this season.

Nobody asked you what any body can talk about or bring up in this or any other thread dimwit.
Don't you want to mis spell a wurd or two?
And comparing players on the same team who play the same position AND earned the same amount of salary last year is relevant to any one outside of dimwits.

He takes up 2.5% of the cap for Christ's sake
Some of you act like hes making twice as much as he actually does.
Ridiculous thread

We should have taken Hill. Even though we couldn't with our 2nd and even though he isn't a complete rb.

Can you give me the average from the last two years please

You conveniently left out carrys per game and yards per carry.
As well as fumbles in comparison to the rest of the league.
People that shite on Ingram usually fall into one of two categories:
College football mouth breathers.
Or
People who don't watch games and form their own opinions.
