This is the cop who many defended here a while back, blaming the victim.

New York (CNN)Officer Peter Liang, who shot and killed an unarmed man in a New York housing project stairwell in 2014, was found guilty of manslaughter and official misconduct on Thursday.
quote:
Gurley was shot in the chest in Brooklyn and died at a hospital in November 2014.
The next day, police Commissioner William Bratton told reporters the 28-year-old was "a total innocent" who fell victim to "a very unfortunate tragedy ... involving an accidental discharge."
quote:
"Then, instead of doing all that he could to help Akai Gurley, he wasted precious time arguing with his partner about calling for help," Assistant District Attorney Marc Fliedner told jurors last month. "In fact, instead of calling for help, he just stood there and whined and moaned about how he would get fired."

quote:
In the darkened stairwell, Liang's gun discharged about the same time that Gurley, the father of a 2-year-old child, and his girlfriend were entering the seventh-floor landing, Bratton said.
The lights on the seventh and eighth floors were not working, Bratton said.

Little late....just a little

Hmm, sounds like everything went as it should. Cop did wrong, cop will go to jail. Nothing to see here.

So I'm guessing the victim was black?
no reason, just playing a hunch
no reason, just playing a hunch

We get it. You hate cops, authority figures, and white people.

Oh look, Kafka bringing race into the discussion.

Wrong. I hate unlawful cops. And racists.

He wouldn't post if the victim wasn't black.
That kid is the definition of white guilt.

I actually don't do it at all. I respond to racial comments for sure. But I don't initiate it. You know that.
End hijack.
A cop finally got what he deserved.

When did I do that? Would love to see your rational observations.

As much as you harp on race, you're probably among the most racist people here. It seems to be all you think about. To be quite honest, I rarely think about it. The only fricking reason I do is because people of your ilk make sure the coals stay nice and stoked. How in the hell are we to become "colorblind" with this constant bombardment?

Tangerine is just one of those half empty kind of guys. He is like the media he focuses on the issues that hold his people back instead of looking at issues such as black/black crime, the break down of the black family, etc. Oh and those civil war statues that just cause so many problems for blacks today. Tangerine we get it are there bad cops out there, yes. You seem to say we on this board are racist but you seem to have to convinced yourself that you are not.

You are the voice of the held back and the unheard people of color I guess. I have been to Atlanta and see a city that thrives and black people that get it. Education, family, and work are keys to success. That is success for all races their are white people that rather use the government for free handouts and turn to crime and yes are killed by cops but we don't post it here to show you that it happens. This isn't 1967 Tangerine time to move along.

You could not be anymore wrong. Someone set this guy straight.

on record here being 100% against their removal.

exactly who do you think I am racist against?

so why do you bring race into the thread?

BTW, I do this MOnday through Friday, among many other things.
