2) our front 7 is smallish and will struggle to stop the power teams of bama, ole miss and arky

Yeah, I'm not buying this. What is small about Christian Lacouture, Davon Godchaux, Frank Herron and Greg Gilmore? They averaged 300 pounds last year. They might be a little bigger this year. Lewis Neal is a good sized end, Beckwith is a monster at mlb.

Our defenses problem is that our offense could not control the ball. And save the time of possession arguments. You're always going to have good TOP when you run the ball 20% more than your opponents.

If the offense is good next year, this defense will kick arse.

LSU is going to have a tough time beating Alabama and OM...but both games are at home. I could see a split there. It is hard to imagine Arky beating LSU three years in a row...but that game is away, so it is certainly possible.

I think 10-2 is a the most likely outcome.

The SECw is going to be interesting. Bama replaces a lot of players. OM replaces some but they get Bama at home. LSU returns a lot and get Bama and OM at home.

If LSU is going to make a title run, this almost has to be the year.

point is we only have 2 DT's in at one time. and a decent size middle linebacker. our ends are tiny weightwise compared to 315 lb OL's. so we've got 2 big guys in the middle and the OL has 5. we've got 2 small ends rushing and our lb'[s are not that big.

I'm excited about aranda putting in 3 DT's with one of those small guys at end as a rusher.

I'm not with the whole " our D line is way too small" either, especially this year. The offense has to not go 3 and out. Everyone's coming back and as the season goes R. Lawrence, big Ed, Logan, Isaiah Washington, Deondre Clark(played for first time in bowl game, looked 280ish) A. Anthony will all be in the rotation. We should be able to play 10-12 lineman/game....also think against power teams we will see the 5-2 with 3 big D lineman and 2 big OLBs/DEs up on the line to play the run
