If you keep and clean 5+ pounders then chances are you don't catch many of them.

Send me his information. I'd love to talk to him, face to face.

I've yet to meet fishermen with his attitude that can actually back their shite up.

You mean law abiding citizens?

I know we are rare around here, but we do exist.

That's all fine and good. I'm just trying to figure out who broke the law.

Bass fished all my life but have never eaten one. My dad always practiced catch and release when I was growing up fishing with him. Don't care at all if anyone else keeps them though, we just dont.

So right there, no more than 8 fish are allowed to leave the lake in this guy's boat. 8 fish is hardly a record stringer.

and fished out of our pathfinder bay boat,

No idea why this matters. I guess it pumps their dick to know they can catch bass in a bay boat

quote:

tore the fish absolutely up, and kept a frick pile of them.

I highly doubt 8 fish qualifies as a 'frick pile' to bay/marsh fisherman. So he's either breaking the law or exaggerating like an extenze ad.

quote:

He said there were endless rustled jimmies at the launch.

Rightly so if some d-bag in a bay boat is killing a 'frick pile' of fish and giving all the law abiding fisherman the finger while doing it.

But he's all of 6' 3" and 220 so he just smiles at them.

This is more than likely this biggest lie of the entire post.

It means I've seen a lot of ice chests leaving our fisheries with 2x-3x the legal limit.

Somebody already mentioned D'arbonne. That's a well documented case of anglers routinely going over limits and negatively affecting the fishery.

8 fish total for the boat? So, by your rule all your boat can have in it as it leaves Toledo's launch is 8 total fish no matter the species?

That's bass per person.

I know that, but it sure wasn't specified in the original post about the catch and then captfuktard said that the boat can have no more than 8 fish in it.

Per person. He used singular nouns/pronouns so I'm assuming he fished alone.
