Went yak fishing a while back with someone and his friend came along. I caught a red and he was appalled that I kept it. Of course, he is big into Bayou Coast and thumbs his nose at anyone without a Hobie. He was a douche. Shake the haters.

I have no use for Facebook or the non-consumptive types. If it is legal and you want to kill it or eat it, have at it. Bass are good to eat. If you want to spend your time fishing as a contest, ok by me, just do not expect me to conform to your ideas. I love to eat fish and catch them. I am not in it to win a trophy.

I try not to keep fish during the pre spawn/spawn times, just so those fish can reproduce. During spring and summer i will keep 10 a day

I don't let folks keep bass over 3 pounds in our lakes, but only because I like catching big fish. Eat all the 1-3 pounders you can catch.

We catch a lot of bass. They are great in a Courtbuillion, grilled or fried.
I like taste and the consistency.
I like white bass also.
We had a guide out at Toledo bitching about keeping bass with eggs. We were throwing them back and he was keeping every one for his clients.

I went into a store in Shanghai and they had glass tanks of live fish that you buy and they clean for you while you wait.
They had three tanks of largemouth bass among other tanks of different species.
We really should allow farm raising of bass and bream and crappie for commercial resale.
