If Les doesn't like what Fowler did then we should never flip a kid on signing day. That is both ways.

Yep. I don't like it when it happens to us, but it happens to nearly every school. But we have done the same to other schools. We did it to Texas with Ryan P., but that's okay since it was LSU doing it. Also did it to MSU yesterday with Cushenberry, but that's ok too.

RP flip flopped through his whole recruitment. There were multiple times during his recruitment where he would give an interview in Austin and say he was going to Texas and then turnaround and do an interview with a New Orleans or BR media type and say he was LSU. It happened several times. It was obvious he was a moving target the whole time.
Fowler gave a hard commit to LSU and then without notifying the staff changed on NSD. The problem with what LSU did was put their eggs in that one basket for a kid living 12 miles form Austin and had to know that his mom wanted him close to home. Their were a lot of other really good linebackers out of state linebackers that didn't live 15 minutes from a major D1 campus that Miles could have gone after. So I really don't get this strategy any more than whole Franks QB thing.

Buncha middle aged white guys tearing apart a 17 year old black kid they've never met for changing his mind. I love recruiting season.

If he had changed his mind simply because he wanted to stay home and play for his home state, then fine, nobody should have any issues with that. I am thinking there may just be a little more to it than that, maybe 125,000 more reasons. Who knows, but best of luck to him.

Look everybody it's el gato, one of those people that starts labeling other racists as soon as they mention race.
Loser.
Loser.

Hmmm.... Kiel was white and he was ripped apart just as much as Fowler. Maybe that was a bunch of inner city black dudes ripping on him, right? I wish Fowler no harm, but I could not care less about his success on the field.

Hope he sinks with that sinking ship over there in Austin. Strong barely made it through the season last year now everyone is all of a sudden singing his praises. If they come out cold to start the season again he is in some serious trouble over there.

I'm right here bro. And I'm not the one that brought race into the discussion.
Show some balls and answer the question. What does race have to do with LSU fans being upset about a kid backing out of his commitment?
Or did I hurt your feelings?

This is Charlies last season at Texas, let him have this victory.

UT = most talented 6 win team next year. This recruiting class was 2 years too late for Strong. He's not going to make it out alive the 2016 season. They will continue to be TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Okie Lite's bitch.

To clear something up people, I'm not at all ripping the kid for staying closer to home. That is something every parent should understand and they are making that decision because they think it is best for him and the family.
My problem is the way Fowler and his parents never had the balls and respect to contact the coaches. In fact the coaches were told he was still solid after the Texas in home. All I'm saying is that if Fowler doesn't have the chest to contact the coaches after they built a relationship and went all in for him, then he deserves to be called out!
