I know there was a thread where there was a lot of talk about the banning of mud motors on Pass a Loutre. Seems like LDWF was listening.

quote:

A prohibition on mud boats and air-cooled propulsion engines after 2 p.m. on Pass-A-Loutre WMA from September through January is one of the changes being considered by the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission in a Notice of Intent adopted last month in Baton Rouge.

quote:

“We’ve had a lot of public requests over the years that there are a lot of people who basically use those boats to run ducks and haze them, and they don’t get a place to sit down,” Baker said. “And they want to see that cut out, so that’s a comment we’ve heard a lot.

Good. Those things are so fricking trashy. Running all the ducks out.

Between this and the moronic shite La sportsman is printing about the gating of canals, I fully expect all the youtube commentators on that website to go into full retard mode.

Maybe it's just me but it seems like some mouthbreathing asshats have gotten a hold of WLF in the last couple years.

*edit* mudmotors.

Good. I'm tired of all the flat bills tearing up the marsh while blaring Luke Bryan and FGL.

Personally. I think they should stop hunting on every wma by that time. But that's just me.

I'm ok with this. Pass a loutre used to be better hunting before the huge numbers of mud boats. Like it says, the birds don't get a chance to rest.

I've been hunting the refuge for 25+ years and mudboats definitely affect the ducks. Same thing happened to Baptiste Collete also.

You know what I want the wildlife and fisheries to do?

Make the limit 3 and the season 30 days for about 5 years. This will solve all the problems we have with these asshats. It will "trim the fat"
