quote:

All told, 54% of young people in the United States said that a Donald Trump presidency would make them feel like packing up and getting the hell out of Dodge. That number spiked to 73% among young black Americans, and 64% of young Latinos.

Democrats were way more likely to say they’d want to run away in the face of a Trump administration, but one in three young Republicans said they’d feel the same way.

On the bright side: governing after half the population under the age of 35 has fled may make the job a little easier.

Read the full analysis of the poll from Langer Research Associates. More on our methodology:

This Fusion 2016 Issues Poll was conducted by landline and cell phone interviews Jan. 6-19 among a random national sample of 1,030 adults age 18 to 35. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the survey’s design effect.

This survey was produced for Fusion by Langer Research Associates of New York, with sampling, data collection and tabulation by SSRS/Social Science Research Solutions of Media, Pennsylvania. See methodological details here.

They know where the exit is, and after they leave its going to be hard to scale Trump's wall if they want back in.

I never intended to vote for Trump, but now I am tempted to. Welfare and Medicaid payments will go way down, hopefully reducing my tax burden.

We heard the same thing from some people when Obama was elected, and like always, it didn't happen. People always throw a tantrum when their candidate doesn't get elected.

Because he's white. They don't know the first thing about his policies.

Hillary I can hold my nose for during the next 4 years. But Bernie is a fricking socialist - the antithesis of everything I believe in. Capitalism is almost a religion for me, so Bernie getting elected would be absolutely devastating to me.

I have been all for Trump since the first month he was running because of all of the jobs he would create but if young black Americans feel that way that is their right. Even though society will miss their contributions and America may suffer because they help society more than they hurt it I still say we need #TRUMP2016

Of course they can, though I don't know how you got racism from the OP though.
