No, but apparently you are this bad at reading comprehension.

Gluten-free, on such a scale, is just the bogeyman of the moment. It's a fad. That's what I'm saying. Ten years ago the only people worried about gluten were those with celiac disease.

I gave you a pass on okra and I'll give you a pass on this. Not that long ago, whole wheat and, even before that, wheat germ were all the rage.

So...as people ate more and more products with gluten, the incidence of sensitivities and hyper-sensitivities increased, (much like peanut allergies). I heard of 1 kid when I was growing up that had a peanut allergy. Now, you hear about it everywhere. I'm sure people are just making that up, too...because it is so en vogue to not eat peanuts...right?
