Most hostile fans in college athletics?

I would say Maryland bball fans. Especially when they use to play duke at home when they were in the acc. Maryland fans overall are just terrible

We left the ACC long before I was alive but my friend's grandmother says she never roots for Maryland. She said it was from an old general ACC-SC animosity thing, but I think it speaks to the point.

Maryland is a good answer. A lot of jersey trash who couldn't get into elite schools there.

When they played Duke they could be rude but so are Clemson fans to USC etc. walk out of Ohio State after your team beat them in football.

Coach K doesn't let his wife and kids travel to Maryland after the Terripin fans threw batteries, coins, and full water bottles at his team. Some parents of the Duke players were hit and injured. Maryland fans are scum of the earth!!

Before ACC expansion Maryland games where like traveling to another land. They were always the oddball in the league. You never hear anyone say "Boy do I miss playing Maryland".

Anyone who has ever lived in California would know it's Fresno State.
Baseball and Football, those Central Valley folks are nuts. They don't burn couches like West Virginia they burn your house down. When your most famous coach in history has a Fu Manchu, expect fights in the stands.
