- Could never beat Florida and Spurrier while at Tennessee (cause you cant spell citrus without "UT")
- Lost Heisman to Charles Woodson
- Played 2nd to Tom Brady in NFL
- 1-3 in Super Bowl appearances

People saying it would be nice for Peyton to end his career with a Super Bowl win haven't really paid attention to Peyton's career trajectory.

Having him steal one from cam would be more ironic.

This is almost a repeat of the 2009 season Superbowl.

Brees vs. Peyton

Peyton was supposed to win...it would have been nice. Also, Favre was supposed to make it...

History doesn't go that way. It goes the way the ball goes, and the TEAM goes.

You sucking Cam's dick would be an appropriate end when you swallow.

If your team has never won the Super Bowl,

You will gladly like to face Peyton Manning at it.

Kinda like Elway
- never made a bowl game throughout college
- finished 2nd in the Heisman to Herschel
- played 2nd to Joe Montana most of his career
- was 0-3 in super bowls heading to the end of his career

so what's this about trajectory and stuff?

Let's be honest, if the Broncos somehow pull this off. It isn't going to be because of Manning. It's going to be because of that defense.

My favorite part about football season being over is seeing fewer of your Panther threads.

I want Manning to win but sadly true despite all the tard fans.

NFL British forum actually has multiple threads about how much this would tarnish Manning's legacy even more..so the rest of the world knows his history in big games dating back to college...which is kinda cool actually for them to really study his clutch fails.

I hope he wins though and reverses his global rep as a choker and the brits for years have made fun of Manning face after throwing another last second pick 6 to lose the game....they are ruthless
..more than saints fans gloating

As much as I like the Mannings and want to see them win Carolina is like a Fright train going head to head with a F-250.

He's hands down lost the last 2 Super Bowls for his team. I cannot see him being the reason they win this one with that noodle arm. He's just passed his prime. Denver Defense is unbelievable though.

He may have never beaten Florida but he had no problem beating us like a drum.
