Have any of you tried this? I've got a bad sweet tooth and this looks like it could be a great latenight, caffeine-free drink to sip on and watch some Netflix.

Sounds gross. Probably has a ton of sugar in it.

Took two sips and threw it away. To each his own, but the cinnamon sugar flavor coupled with the carbonation of a soda didn't work for me.

Its actually not terrible. I thought I wasnt going to like it because it was going to be a sugar bomb, buts its not horrible.

I wouldnt sit there and drink a whole one though

It's pretty good but it has 45 grams of sugar/bottle. Definitely something to only have on a rare occasion.

not terrible, but not something i could sit and just drink. Has a strong cinnamon taste, however it may be good to make an ice cream float with...

That's exactly what I told my lady when we tried a bottle. Something about carbonated cinnamon just didn't do it for me. That being said, it tastes just like a king cake in a bottle and some people really like it.

So, just like the Bayou Bootlegger.

I took two sips and just couldn't stomach much more.

Bayou Bootlegger isn't something you can have a lot of. It's more of a have-one-bottle type of drink; I don't think Abita intended it to be a drink that you have 5 in a row of.

I had the exact same reaction. Thought I was going to hate it and got it just to see what it would be like. Tastes like cream soda with cinnamon in it.

That Bayou Bootlegger makes Jockamo seem pretty good.

Bayou Bootlegger will hold the title for a long time.

It is awful.

I do think they intended for you to be able to finish the bottle though, which I could not come close to doing.

Agree. Too much of a cinnamon bomb for me to enjoy. Still have 3 from the 6er I can't give away 2 weeks later.

SP Praline Creme Soda FTW
