Anyone hit up 504 Craft Beer Reserve yet? They got anything worth the trip to Mid City or should I stick with Steins?

Can you make your own 6 pack here?

Pearl Wine Co. On Orleans has a small but good selection of singles.

I have a sneaking suspicion I know who you are IRL. Jez is a good dude. Ran into him randomly at the bar last night.

This is just ignorant. That area is booming. Mid-City has some fantastic places to eat and drink.

They will fill a growler. Not sure on your question.

Yes! Stopped by yesterday and the owner was telling everybody to feel free to mix and match all the beers. He has them individually priced. Cool place. Will be going back.

And there is a gated parking lot in the back of the store for anyone worried about parking on the street off Tulane.
Owner was a really nice guy. They also also had a bunch of brewery merchandise which is something you don't see anywhere else.

Just got back from there. As someone said, YES you can make your own 6 pack, it's even encouraged. There were two guys there working who were both really nice. They both said pretty much anything in the store, feel free to break open packs as you need, as everything is individually priced. They also have some empty 6 pack cartons lying around you can use.

My haul for today:

Magic Hat 9
Green Flash Passion Fruit Kicker
Sweetwater Hash Session IPA
Founders All Day IPA
Lagunitas Day Timer Ale
Terrapin Hop Selection IPA

Never had any of those before so looking forward to it!

Nice guys. Thought it was a little pricey. Average selection. Cool merchandise options. I'd visit again. Definitely will check it out again in 2 months or so to see if they have a little more organization -- lot of cases just on the floor with mixed bombers inside. I don't have time to dig through every case to find a specific beer.

Space is really attractive. Could be really nice once they figure it out.

It definitely seems like they spent all their startup money on inventory and not so much on shelving and organization.

I didn't go through any of the boxes on the floor so I might have missed out on some stuff.

Hopefully as they make some money they can do some nicer things with the space. It has a ton of potential and we needed a store like this.

Checked 504 craft beer reserve out yesterday and thought it was pretty cool. Liked the fact that they will be filling growlers. Hopefully they keep some interesting stuff on tap. They also said they will be selling kegs.

I will try to visit a few weeks when it is s little more organized. Selection was about as good as anywhere in the New Orleans area in my opinion. Will be interesting to see if they can move all that inventory they started off with.
