After 4 years off the radio dial, I have decided to bring the Scott Innes Car-Tunes Radio Show back to the
airways.
I am so excited to partner with Pat Galloway, Regional Vice President/Market Manager of Cumulus Broadcasting of Baton Rouge.
For 15 years I had an amazing time driving home Baton Rouge listeners. My love for Baton Rouge & South Louisiana kept me in this great state until the right opportunity came along. And it has!
After 20 years of playing country music I have decided to go back to what started my career over 35 years ago.....Classic Hits -Top 40 Rock n' Roll.
What Pat Galloway and Program Director, Jeff Johnson have going is magical... Everywhere I go people are listening to Classic Hits 103.3. So I am excited to join a part of something that I truly feel is becoming the talk of Baton Rouge!
It will be the same show I've done all these years, just trading the twang for a Bang! I hope to reach out and touch people's lives everyday, while trying to make difference thru entertaining and making people laugh.
Whether you are a loyal listener from the past or a new follower looking for what is new in Baton Rouge, I would like to invite you all to tune in to my show 3-7pm starting February 1, 2016, on Classic Hits 103.3.
Thank you all for your continued support & I can't wait to get back on the air!!!!
"So put the seat belts on & don't forget to hug them babies"

I hope he fails miserably and I hope the radio station that hired him goes under.

Yeah. He likes to randomly pop into businesses and start talking like a fricking cartoon character. One lady I know had no idea who the frick he was and almost called the cops. He runs around in his sweet arse Beetle pimping his stupid fricking magazine.

Scott’s own catchphrase of “Hug them babies when you get home” has become a staple of the Baton Rouge airways.

He is considered in Nashville, Tennessee as “the great dane of country radio.” So much so, that in 1998, Scott was awarded the CMA Award for Air Personality of the Year.
quote:
When the pee-wee league in Brusly, Louisiana couldn’t find enough sponsors last year, Scott bought all 10 teams uniforms and equipment so they could play ball!

In August of 2005, when Hurricane Katrina devastated Southern Louisiana, Scott and his wife Jodie opened their home to a family of eight who were evacuated from their home in New Orleans and who lost everything that they owned.

He has many friends in Nashville, which include Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers, Tanya Tucker and the country band Lonestar who will all tell you the same thing, “Scott Innes loves country radio and country radio loves Scott Innes.”

Such a staple or a catchphrase that I don't recall ever hearing it.

I have told this story before, but the owner of the company I used to work for knew him and I met my boss at Walk On's for lunch and this guy showed up in a leather Scooby doo jacket and was doing the voice to the waitresses the whole time. I had no clue who he was. Was a horrible hour of my life.
