Most of these other dudes just do it for youtube hits. This guy was clearly just open carrying and trying to order subway.
Screw those cops for harassing him. Big boy supervisor at the end, i hope he loses his job.

im all for open carrying but it inst illegal to ask for a permit? Cops also need to protect the public. After seeing he knew his rights he should have been on his way
ETA: if he wasn't planning on this happening then i find it fishy how he just so happened to know who is in charge of internal affairs

bullshite.
All he had to do was hand over his permit and everything would have been fine. Although if he did, he wouldn't have a fun video to post online. These douches give gun owners a bad rep.

I don't base my approval on open carry of the you tube videos

Is it the law for him to have to hand over his permit upon request? If it isn't then the police were just harassing him, and he was right to refuse as a matter of principle.

I disagree
He should have gladly showed his permit
He should have gladly showed his permit

It's going well and then...

but he knows the result by saying no to the officers. Just hand over your ID and move on with your day.
I bet this dude went home and jerked off to his own video

He wasn't doing anything illegal, but it's a 2 way street. If people keep doing this, the cops are going to get sick of dealing with these assholes and push to makes laws for more restrictions. Gun owners like this need to learn how to improve their perception to the public. Pretty soon, when people see someone open carry, they'll automatically assume that person is a trouble maker.

police were just harassing him

He knows that the police will illegally harass him? Think about the fact that you think this should be the expected outcome.

Plaxico Burris agrees

Subway is not a "public place." He doesn't have a "right" to be in there. All they had to do was ask him to leave.
Posted on 1/13/16 at 11:34 am to meauxjeaux2
What state was that in? Curious why he would need a "permit" to OC.
Posted on 1/13/16 at 11:34 am to upgrayedd
watch the second video. He makes some good points about being worried about someone open carrying and real crime in the hood.

Subway is not a "public place."
Now they do have the right to refuse service which they did at the officers prodding but ......

Why? What law was he breaking.. Usually I feel these people are looking for a confrontation but this one doesnt have that vibe simply carrying a holstered pistol
