LSU will reverse the curse on January 9th, 2017

Every LSU fan remembers where they were on this day four years ago. LSU was looking to complete one of the greatest seasons in college football history, and we were going do it in our backyard.
We all know what happened on 1/9/12.
Many would argue that the program hasn't been the same since. And while I think that we did have a very good team in 2012, I agree that it just hasn't felt the same since that amazing 2011 season.
It is time to reverse the curse.
You may have guessed it by now... The national championship game next season once again falls on January 9th, this time in Tampa, Florida.
Back in 2011, Les Miles forgot to carry Madame Zeroni up the mountain so she could drink from the spring, and ever since, we have been cursed for always and eternity. Next January 9th, Les and LSU will climb the mountain, break the curse, and finish what we couldn't back in early 2012.
The wheels are in motion. Similar to the beginning of 2011, a dominating performance against a Texas team in a Texas bowl game has our confidence high going into next season. Next, a home run hire in Aranda as defensive coordinator. Then, our coaches regrouped and have worked their butts off to retain the nation's top recruiting class in 2016. Now, many of our draft-eligible juniors are deciding to return to school for one more shot at that elusive title.
When LSU takes the field on November 5th, 2016 against Alabama, it will be exactly five years to the day since our last victory over the Tide. Remember remember the 5th of November. I choose not to see that as some coincidence, but instead, a sign. Our tigers will be hungry for a memorable win in Death Valley.
2016 will be a special season for LSU football. Consider this a hype thread for our team and Coach Miles. Hop on board now. We need as much positivity for this team as possible.
It all starts September 3rd at Lambeau Field against Wisconsin. Are you in?

In 2011 Jordan Jefferson went the back swamps of Louisiana with Greg studrawa. He met a which Doctor and begged for the chance to start in the national title "at all costs." The witch doctor obliged but said there would be a four-year curse on the program. JJ and Stud agreed. It's now 2016 and time to break the curse!!!!

Just blew the chance to start the reversal of the "curse" in late Nov. Instead, doubled-down on it.

A lot of similarities in dates. If anything we just really need to beat Alabama again before it gets Army Navy bad.

Army-Navy is just as it should be.
