I've looked at Indochino and ownonly and can't decide if I want to stray away from Jos Bank buy one, get 3 free..

I'm not ballin' outrageous just yet and that deal is hard to pass up..

Any suggestions for an affordable tailored suit?

TIA

Ask Pocket Aces, I heard he has a good tailor.

I buy nothing that requires that much customization over the interwebz.

I've done indochino before. I was pleased with the quality and customer service.

I own 5 indochino suits and about 20 of their shirts. I love them. I got measured in NYC, but I'm sure I could have gotten it right online. They'll remake it anyway.

I have two suites from them. Good quality for the price and I get compliments on them.

Panties stay wet when I wear one.

The most important part of custom clothes is the measurements. Don't get anything unless you can have a professional take your measurements. If you have someone other than the tailor making your suit or one of their reps, I would imagine each one would blame the other if your suit didn't fit. I'd make sure it is very clear what happens if this is the case so you don't get stuck with a poorly fitting suit.

Custom Suits Online

These guys make a nice suit at a fairly reasonable price especially for custom suits.

The way they have you do your measurements really gets things right.

If you can make the trip into Houston, go to suit supply. It is an awesome experience to get fitted for a suit there.

All the chicks that work there are gorgeous, and they are quite liberal with some nice bourbon to serve while you are getting fitted or shopping.

Go to a Haberdashery and tell them what you can afford and they will make it happen. A lot of times they can order something in if they don't have that price range and will make sure that the pattern and fit is right for you.

Get your measurements and I can send you the email address to my tailor in Korea.

The only thing bad about this is that you don't get a fitting before it is completed.

Friend of mine swears by SuitSupply.com

This is a guy who wears a suit almost daily and is pretty picky about it.

Serious? Do you want a decent looking suit that is cut to your specifications or a cheap baggy sheet with buttons on it? If the former, go with Indochino. If the latter, stick with Joseph Bank.
