Exactly. This is probably routine for them. I don't believe Loomis is stupid enough to let Payton walk, unless the compensation was ridiculous. Even then, I'm not sure. Just look around, find a top tier HC is difficult. That's why there are a ton of openings each year.

Media now is just click bait. I absolutely hate it, no quotes no facts, just expressing their opinion. It's pitiful, ESPN is abomination to reporting, only reporting stories they want or making stories where they seize to exist. This being said, I'm worried for CSP because loomis is nuts. Hopefully we keep him

When has it worked for the team trading a HC for draft picks ?

Never. They almost always downgrade.

How is Loomis nuts? Disagree with moves but man he has provided stability and been pretty competent in our structure where Payton has more talent say.

We could always be the Browns or Dolphins

I'd assume they would have some year end meetings for most teams tomorrow

Or is it being reported as something different?

They need to meet tomorrow and talk about what happened this season and how it can be improved next season. They have MUCH to discuss because many improvements are needed.

Bye Sean and take Loomis with you

So if that were to happen, do you really think someone is just going to walk-in and be a success? Failure is a lot more common than success, just keep that in mind. All you have to do is look at Saints history to know about shitty coaches... Be careful what you wish for!!

Team has been so inconsistent under Payton lately. I felt like he was stake during beginning of year but team has marginally responded better lately. If we got great value for him I'd be indifferent about a change and moving on to something fresh.
