Unless you want to mount one leave them alone. Pain in the arse to clean

That's not what I was really asking but I do however appreciate your input.

A ton of them. We used to go on bufflehead hunts in SELA. They're faster than teal.
typically if you can find dos-gris the buffleheads will be mixed in

I've killed them at Manchac WMA before. There were a bunch out there on the prairie.

Brother shot one in Maringouin this season. Took a picture. Was consumed as a popper along with teal and spoonies. Delicious.

I have. If you hunt the pontchartrain lake shore on the northsore, you'll see loads of them. Just watch for the tiny ducks flying 1' off the surface and call them in. All around mandeville lake front this time of year too. They don't come much closer than the end of the jetties but they're out they're diving around.

I shot a good looking drake in manchac it kept diving after we shot it a few times, had to call dog back. Sucks but my buddy shot one day before we chased it down and got it. Pretty birds, was fishing rigolets Sunday and had 4 in the area we were fishing just on the water. Cool looking birds though
