My beautiful Christmas

Yesterday morning my wife let me and the children sleep in while she made breakfast. She cooked bacon and pancakes, my favorite breakfast. As our dog woke me up, I saw a letter on my nightstand from my wife. She wrote how thankful she is of me and how much she loved me. After we all ate breakfast, I watched our children open up their Christmas gifts. It's such a delight to see the joy in their eyes on a great day. Each year, we take a family picture outside in matching pajamas.....something my wife thought was cute and had us start doing years ago. It makes me feel good to see my wife happy with me and the children. I love them so very much and they love me as well.
I know I'm new to Tiger Droppings, but I just wanted to share my blessed Christmas morning with you guys. A loving, devote wife and amazing children is all a man needs in life. Those who are married with children know how fun it is to be a family man. I work hard during the week, but love coming home to a kiss on the cheek and love in the home.

Your sister sounds like a catch.

For some reason I initially read this as "yesterday morning my wife left me..." and all I could think was, "Oh, it's going to be one of those uplifting threads...great."

Now see kids - this is a proper troll.

Mark,
Please take your Currier & Ives bucolic scenario back to Gumpland and post this on your rawltard-themed Pinterest page.
We here thrive on angst, tragedy, miscontent, malcontents, Rex, sadness, loss, anger, mud checks and Ye-Ye. If you can't offer one or more of these qualities per thread-

Do you have a son? Hope he doesn't turn out to be a pussy like his dad.
