Is it easily the Fiesta Bowl? Multiple people I know who head to pretty much every bowl tOSU ends up in are forgoing this years matchup due to a lousy destination.

For those that have been, is it really as lousy as everyone seems to think it is? Is it the worst of the bunch or is there one that tops it? I've only been to the Sugar Bowl, which was obviously a good time, so I thought I'd ask here.

I wouldn't want to do it many times, but the Fiesta Bowl is fine. Venue is fine. Glendale sucks but there is enough to do around the stadium. You can stay in Scottsdale, which is nice.

When we went a lot of people, including us, did some sort of trip either to Vegas or Sedona or both. Guess you could also do Flagstaff.

The worst stadium would have to go to Miami although as pretty and scenic as the Rose Bowl the seating situation might be worse.

Aa far as the overall experience goes I wouldn't be too excited for trips to Atlanta or Glendale.

Honestly, all of the locations are kinda meh.

Except for Pasadena, I guess.

If we're talking destination/area as a whole, I'd say Glendale is just fine. If you're in Ohio, why wouldn't you want to go to Pasadena/LA, Glendale/Phoenix/Scottsdale, New Orleans, or Miami in January? I think all of those places offer lots to do in the area, with New Orleans being the one that stands out with the best things to do right around the stadium. Dallas and Atlanta on the other hand, meh.

Can't be the Orange Bowl. One of the best venues.

The trip to the NCG in Miami made up three of the best days of my life, and that's even including ND getting drilled. Awesome trip.

I've been to Jerryworld, too, although for a regular season game (ND vs. Arizona State) not a bowl. It was pretty meh. To be fair, we were only in Dallas the day of the game, and didn't really do anything besides tailgate/go to the game but it just felt off a bit. Stadium is incredible though.

Heading to Glendale in a few weeks. If it's like Miami was (i.e. a lot of fun things happening in a different part of the metro, and a fun game-day atmosphere in Glendale), I'll take it.

The Orange Bowl is fine. The new stadium renovations are great. If the destination includes the city itself, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale should not be on any "worst" list. There is a reason why so many ballers and captains of industry reside in South Florida.

Went to Bama ND game...

The days leading up to the game, in south beach, were awesome. Partied saw a lot of crazy stuff. Hung out at the beach. Went to Joes Stone Crab.

The day of the game was worlds different. Long trek to stadium in a cab. $90 I think. Tailgated in a parking lot. Waited for hours for the game. Just a completely different scene.

Miami should have built a new stadium near downtown instead of retrofit the current stadium.
