Looks like we dodged a bullet missing out on this winner. He's suspended for the bowl game and the first game next year. Loves his weed, allegedly.

Not surprising. He kept hanging out with Claiborne and Golden initially, with all of them getting caught 1-2am back when he was a true fish.

He has had issues every single year. It is unfortunate because unlike Claiborne/Golden, I do think he is a good kid.

Looks like 2 for 5 was a blessing.

Hope he gets it together.

How is Tony Brown doing? We can definitely make the case that Fournette, Adams, and Malachi were the prizes. Cam Robinson was the big miss from that class.

The former five-star recruit hasn't had the impact many expected on Alabama's secondary, but has emerged as one of the Tide's best special teams players. He's taken on the role of big tackler on special teams who fires up the team the way Foster did in the past before securing a starting linebacker spot this season.

quote:

He leads the team with eight special team tackles and has been one of Alabama's special teams players of the week four times this season.

"I feel like Tony's doing a great job embracing his new role on the team," said linebacker Ryan Anderson. "He's a great athlete and he's tough too. You see him running down and knocking people out. That's what he brings to the table."

Brown entered the spring as a favorite to land one of the starting cornerback positions after starting two games his freshman year. The 6-foot, 195-pound sophomore had the size and speed to be an effective cornerback and was viewed as the future of the Alabama secondary. Instead, Brown finished behind redshirt freshman Marlon Humphrey and true freshman Minkah Fitzpatrick on the depth chart to start the season. Brown accepted his role as a backup as the secondary played significantly better than last season.

The kid really grinded my gears with that snartass tweet of his after we lost to Miss State in 2014: "I'm so glad I chose a good program."

Have fun with 5umlin and the Aggie5 at Texa5 A&M.

and yea Cam was the biggest one we missed signing that year...think thats why stud was shown the door... he missed him and Greg Robinson that went to Auburn and then 17th overall in the draft.. too many misses on him..

Maybe he puts his 2 SEC championship rings in his ears to drown out the noise.

The sad part is his suspension has really no affect on them. I haven't heard his name all year.

You couldn't have made a less informed statement. Claiborne never had any of the issues he faced until he got around those two and A&M. Noil a 'good kid', 'unlike Claiborne'?
