I can and have googled some info but figured I would ask here. If you had a group coming to golf LA, what courses would you put them on? Lafayette- NO area would be preferred but don't hold back if there are others anywhere else in the state worth the drive. Thanks

Public courses or a situation where your home club pro can call and get you on any private course in the state?

If we aren't limiting ourself to public courses:
- Squire Creek
- CCLA
- U-Club
If public only:
- The Bluffs
- TPC of LA
- Black Bear

Is CCLA really that good? Serious question. I haven't played it.

Public courses or courses they can get on with reciprocal rights. They are members at pretty substantial clubs elsewhere in the US

If they go North to play Squire Creek I would send them up the road a little ways to El Dorado AR to play Mystic Creek. It's as impressive as Squire IMO. Black Bear's traps are gone... or were last time I played it. Might want to hold off on there until they get that fixed...

CCL is always in great shape when I've played it and has a good layout.

If you wanted to do a group trip, NO has TPC, Lakewood, La Tour and Carter Plantation all within an hour drive or less. All are fun courses even though Carter gets a lot of hate on here for some reason

They can have their pro call CCLa, and set up a round. If this gets approved, they will pay the "Without Member" rate of $180 plus $20 cart fee.

What about Le Triomphe CC in Broussard, La. I caddied there a few times, but never got to play it. Always looked nice.
