Mauk to Skyler Green to beat UGA. I have no idea how it didn't register as an earthquake.

Les being carried off the field because I thought he was being fired.

In all honesty, the long TD run Jefferson had vs Arkansas in 2011. It pretty much cemented the season and I was sure I was watching the eventual national champion in front of me. It was sort of surreal.

!980, Homecoming game vs Auburn (imagine a homecoming game vs and SEC school today), sitting in a packed student section. Marcus Quinn picks off Auburn to seal a 21-17 win.
Write up from Dandy Don:
I got married that summer and transferred to USL (had a place to live, rent free and tuition was a little cheaper). That year in the student section at Tiger stadium ruined me for football at USL.

This was a night the crowd helped the Tigers. The game seesawed back and forth as Malcom Scott put the Tigers ahead on touchdown reception. LSU lined up to punt late in the 4th quarter. Auburn broke through and blocked the kick and recovered the ball on LSU's 10 yard line. Jerry Stovall brought the team together and inspired them to hold on for 4 downs. On the first play, a wide open Auburn receiver dropped a sure touchdown pass. LSU held for two more downs and on 4t down, Marcus Quinn made a picturesque interception and almost returned it the distance, but more importantly LSU held on and ran out the clock to go to 4-2

Watching LSU beat #1 UF 28-21.
A close second would be the multiple OT game against Auburn a few years ago.

Look no one here has to tell me i'm old, but next season will be my 60th football season in Tiger Stadium, and there have been so many favorite moments. I've always thought the best played game by both teams i've ever seen was the LSU vs. Auburn 1969. Both teams undefeated going in. Day time game likely because it was on TV. We only had one televised game per year back then. And the Tigers (ours) won the game 21-20 because George Bevan a BRHS grad. blocked an extra point. So I guess that was the greatest moment. Yes I was there as a 8 year old for Billy's punt return vs. O.M. in 1959, but I wasn't old enough to realize the importance of that return then. I was a freshman at LSU during the 69 game, also played a little HS football, so i understood a lot better what that victory in 1969 meant for our Tigers.
