Crabtree wants to be in Oakland. Been a long time since a player at his level with options wanted to stay. Speaks to the culture change

Michael Crabtree's experience is instructive. Didn't get $8M per in free agency last year. Signed a 1-year deal to prove it. Then proved it

Many with team say leadership, competitiveness impressed from day one.

It's another sign that the Raiders are becoming a team players will want to play for. They were in the playoff mix for a while this season and should feel going into next season that they can compete for a wild-card spot. Crabtree signing before he can even be sure where the Raiders will be playing over the length of his contract, given the stadium situation in Oakland, is another sign of him really wanting to be with this Raiders team as it improves.

Hell yes locked up he's been huge this yr

Good for him. He's been probably one of the favorite WRs since he got drafted. He had some good years and bad years in San Francisco, often injured, but he has been huge for Oakland. Looks like he is fulfilling his potential. Very happy for him.

He and Coop are a great 1-2 punch

Crab and Coop are a solid combo for D Carr. Depending on the terms, I like that they locked him up.

Wish the saints would have signed him instead of wasting money on Spiller.

Raiders are winning that division next season, or at least getting a wild card spot.
They went from a total shite show to building a team with a great, young core.

Oakland is a perfect fit for him. One of the best No. 2 receivers in the league. That offense will be dangerous with him, Cooper and Carr

pisses me off the saints didn't bing him in for a look at the price tag he signed for this offseason

You can't man up on Crab

Given that he has been a diamond in the rough driving my fantasy team to the playoffs, I approve of this move.
Seriously, I have always liked the mystique of the Raiders and think the league is better when they are competitive...it has just been too long. Way to go Raaaaaiders. Great for Crab.

good for crab, good for Oakland. American sports are better off when franchises like the raiders are relevant

I'm happy to see the Raiders doing some positive things, they just need to put it all together now and win big games. If nothing else, so I can feel good about next year, if they can't make a mini-run this year.
