Can anyone please post a picture of that catch with the nose of the ball touching the ground?
I know it doesn't matter now but I want to see it to be sure it happened.

It can hit the ground if the receiver has possession of the ball. The refs got it right and the ball did hit the ground but he had control over it.

If that was a saints player this board would have gone berserk if it was called a no catch

It was a catch. Move on. BTW.....Browner just got penalized again.

He rolled over lost control of the ball and it hit the ground.

That play could have been either, it was going to be what the call on the field was. If they called it incomplete on the field it would have stood. Just one of those too close to call situations that always ends with someone disagreeing.

I didn't think the ground was allowed to aid in a catch? His hand must be under the ball - it was not.

Yep, very clearly.

Thanks for the pic Freak Robber. That proves my point. In slow motion you can tell that ball hit the ground - blown call.
All shadow and no light under that ball

The ball can touch the ground as long as it doesn't aid in the catch.
Pretty clear catch IMO.
I would say Olsen losing it was a fumble not an incomplete pass.

That is called a trap - no catch

No, it's not. It was a good call and a bad (as usual) Payton challenge.

You need to read a current version of the NFL rule book. Your understanding is outdated.

I'm more pissed about the three twelve men in the huddle calls they missed. One was on a crucial 4th down that they score a touchdown on.

I don't usually bitch about the refs much bcs it usually goes both ways. Here's my two thoughts:
1. Olsen's was a catch. Touched the ground but ok bcs he had control over it. I wanted it to be incomplete badly, but it was a catch.
2. The two 12 men no calls is unexcusable. It's an easy penalty to call and wouldn't be surprised if the ref crew get penalized in some way for having it happen twice in a game.

The 12 man thing happened 3 times and the two other poor calls were the Ingram unsportsmanlike after his TD and the late hit no call / block in the back on the kick return.

LB should have held containment. We had Cam short.

Olsen's had a pretty awesome career.
Seems like there was in team in 2007 that really needed a TE but instead went with a WR instead.
