So defensive...

Does anyone read anything? I am not making an excuse. I am simply trying to get LSU fans off the Alabama mindset that winning 10 or more games and a title each season is the only answer.

Jesus Christ people! LSU was losing 6-7 games every year not long ago.

There's a difference between being competitive in every game, showing gradual improvement and efficiency and still losing 2-3 games and getting flat out embarrassed three weeks in a row, two of which opponents have no business ever running us off the field in the manner they did. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about that.

I will never understand LSU fans who think that our history started with Curley Hallman. There are two websites that rank the NCAA programs all time. We are 8th on one and 9th on the other one. We are 12th all time in Division 1A wins and every school ahead of us except USC has played more games than us.

But we were not paying the coach $4million a year with a $15 million buyout back then.

funkin a Cotton! Lets get back to losing those 6-7 games. you know, "the good old days". frick winning 10 games and a title. Lets all set our goals on underachieving.

You are the perfect example of why most things in this state suck or nearly suck. Dont look at more successful programs, nicer roads, parks, or anything better elsewhere and aspire to it. Just maintain the status quo. I mean, hey, they're not THAT bad, right? We wouldn't want to be considered champions would we? No, that would go against the narrative of La. as the loveable loser. We would never want to be first in anything because that would require risk. And risk is scary. So lets just keep what we got. It may not be great, but it'll do. And most importantly...its safe.

The 90s for LSU were rough

It'd be a shame if an LSU fan...

forgot them.

If you ask anyone to rank teams on talent alone, anyone leaving LSU out top 10 is insane.

Yet no one expects us to finish top 10 even with top 10 talent.

And all of them think firing Miles is insane.
